These include our System Wide Frailty Network, Perioperative Care for Older People undergoing Surgery (POPS) Network, Pre-Hospital Frailty Network, Specialised Clinical Frailty Network and our Acute Frailty Network Optimiser programme.

Ambulatory Emergency Care (AEC) Networks
We also deliver a range of programmes to help participating organisations improve delivery of same day emergency care, including the AEC Accelerator programme, Surgical AEC Network and our new Rebuilding your SDEC programme, launching in July 2022.
Additional support programmes

We are also commissioned to run bespoke programmes of support to accelerate improvement activity, including our new Learning & Education Network.

How our networks are structured

Each of our improvement networks runs for between six and twelve months, and participating organisations are supported in a variety of important ways. The structure of this support is similar across all of our networks and includes (but is not limited to):

  • Monthly online core events
  • Topic-specific workshops, masterclasses and webinars
  • Site visits (either virtual or face-to-face)
  • An allocated Quality Improvement (QI) coach
  • Expertise on measurement
  • A return on investment calculator
  • Support to measure patient experience and use experience based design
