This webinar will help those new to project management to lead and/or contribute to projects more effectively. The workshop will define what makes a project successful, the stages and techniques of project management, and key roles and responsibilities.

Managing a project successfully is as much about managing people and change as it is about the technical aspects of project management, and we will discuss how to engage and involve people in projects. Throughout, we will consider significant pitfalls and offer tips for success.

The workshop will cover:

•  the concepts of project management

•  take you through the cycle of a project, from early conception and defining the scope through to the evaluation and lesson learned phase

•  key roles and responsibilities

•  engaging and involving key stakeholders, considering the human dimensions of change

The session has been designed for anyone new to project management or interested in understanding what makes a successful project and how to lead or contribute as part of a project team.
