Understanding demand and capacity in health and social care

Are you struggling to know where to start with Demand and Capacity planning? Fear not, you're in the right place!

Join us to demystify demand and capacity within health and social care. This session will guide you through the essentials, helping you to understand why mismatches between demand and available capacity often lead to backlogs, longer waiting times, and increased pressure on services.

We’ll tackle common myths, emphasising that effective planning isn’t just a technical task for analysts, but a fundamental skill for all professionals committed to delivering high-quality care. You’ll learn how to identify challenges; such as data gaps or recording issues which can be valuable opportunities for improvement.
