Who we are

We’re a national NHS organisation that helps individuals, teams and organisations in health and care to thrive and improve the quality of care they deliver.

We provide training; personal, team and organisational development; and consultancy services. In 2023/24, we supported over 100,000 people.

Our history

NHS Elect was formed in 2002 to provide support for NHS treatment centres. We have grown steadily over the past 20 years, and currently work with over 100 health and care organisations. We also deliver several national clinical improvement networks. You can find out more about our history via the timeline below.
