Managing complex projects and programmes workshop overview

This workshop is aimed to help people who are managing complex projects or programmes with multiple workstreams and projects either within an organisation or across a system and who have knowledge and experience of project and/or programme management.

The workshop builds from the key concepts of project management introduced at foundation level and introduces different concepts and approaches for leading projects of increasing scale, scope and complexity. Please note, this workshop can only be booked for teams and organisations.

Content

The workshop will cover:

  • The key concepts of project management and help people think about the approaches for managing different projects and programmes of work
  • Systems thinking and complexity science and how these concepts can provide helpful insights into managing complex projects and programmes of transformational change
  • The role, skills and competencies of the project/programme lead
  • Managing risk, reporting, oversight and governance  

Who is this session for?

Anyone who has experience as a project or programme manager who wants to gain insights into how to approach managing complex projects and programmes of transformational change.
